Family Connection Partnerships

The following departments are among those who have benefited from financial support from Family Connection. Financial support is needed to sustain and grow programs and services that benefit FSU students. This support is made possible through the generosity of FSU families and friends. Career Center
The Career Center serves all FSU students regardless of major or academic year. The mission of the Career Center is to provide comprehensive career services, train career service practioners, conduct life/career development, and disseminate information about life/career services and issues to the University, community, the nation and the world.

Dean of Students
The Dean of Students Department is comprised of seven different offices which serves the needs of all FSU students. The offices included in the department are Greek Life, Student Rights and Responsibilities, Orientation, First Year Experience, Withdrawals, Victim Advocate, and the Student Disability Resource Center.

The mission of the Dean of Students Department is to support the academic mission of Florida State University and the Division of Student Affairs by providing services, resources, and advocacy for all students through creative problem-solving, accebility to students, accountability, and a thorough approach to their work.

Thagard Health Center
Thagard Health Center is a fully accredited primary care facility, which provides medical care and outreach programs through a team of dedicated professionals. Many of Thagards services are free to all currently enrolled FSU students.

The Univeristy Counseling Center
The Counseling Center provides support services that help each student group and develop emotioanlly, interpersonally, and intellectually. The Counseling Center provides their services free of charge to all currently enrolled students.

Victim Advocate Program
The Victim Advocate Program serves students victims of crime. Their services for crime victims include crisis intervention; emotional support; accompaniment to the police, hospital, courts; information and referrals; exloration of options; professor notification; safe lodging, and other services as needed.
